My Life Isn’t Missing Children—It’s Missing Chaos

“Don’t you ever feel like something’s… missing?”

Yeah. My patience—for unsolicited parenting advice.

Let’s be real:

The only thing I’m missing is chaos. My mornings are calm. My house is clean. My wine is mine. There’s no Lego ambush underfoot or snack-demanding goblin shrieking “MOM!” like I’m a vending machine.

I’m not “missing out”—I’m opting out. Of PTA meetings, diaper blowouts, and teen drama that requires a therapist and a spiritual medium to decode.

Truth Bomb:

When people say “you’ll regret not having kids,” I wonder if they also regret not choosing the lobster risotto last night. Choices, darling. We all make them.

So no, I don’t feel incomplete. I feel unstoppable. Unapologetic. And, on Fridays, a little bit buzzed. Bottomless mimosas > bottomless toy bins any day.

What I do have:

✨ Freedom to travel at the drop of a hat.

✨ A bank account not drained by dance recitals and dental work.

✨ Energy to build my dream life—not just raise someone else’s.

Free AF Friday isn’t about judging parents.

It’s about celebrating the magic of choosing your own path. One that doesn’t require a carpool schedule or child locks.

So go ahead—book that last-minute spa weekend. Take that risky-but-rewarding career leap. Or just sleep in till 10 like the queen you are.

Bottom Line:

My life isn’t “childless.” It’s limitless.

And no, I’m not crying in my wine—I’m cheering with it.
